Ruby Rodriguez, Vice President
Since 2008, Ruby M. Rodriguez has served as the Vice President of MBD Community Housing Corp. In this role, she oversees the Asset Management and Accounting departments, reporting directly to the President/CEO. Ruby brings extensive experience in coordinating and managing business operations, financial processes and organizational policy development.
Her asset management responsibilities include a 1,500-unit housing portfolio where she manages all financial functions, leads the asset management team and oversees reporting to key stakeholders.
Ruby holds several credentials in real estate development and property management including Registered in Apartment Management (RAM) from The National Association of Builders and Owners, Asset Management Specialist (ASM), and Certified Housing Asset Manager (CHAM) from NeighborWorks of America. Ruby has also earned the Professional in Human Resources certification from the Society for Human Resource Management.
Prior to her work in the housing industry, Ruby had a successful career as a professional ballet dancer, performing with prestigious companies such as New York Theatre Ballet, Shore Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet, and Joffrey Ballet.
